ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE?

RKPK is an artistic collective formed by the plastic artists Pablo Kiran and Rei Kwk.

Founded in 2018, we have made numerous collaborations in which we both merge our styles, taste, skills and knowledge. In parallel, we work supporting each other in our respective personal projects.

Coming from different disciplines we work with techniques such as painting, mural, screen printing and illustration, being the designers and producers of the art works in all processes.

In our collaborative project we are strongly influenced by various Asian cultures, such as: Japanese, Chinese, Hindu, Korean and Tibetan. In a globalized world, we believe that the convergence and unification of different cultures is necessary, thus extracting the positive aspects of each one.

HOW WE WORK?

We have different ways to design.

Merging our styles, working under the premises of the other or making designs in which the styles are clearly delimited. We both take advantage of each other’s knowledge in all our projects, thus supporting our limitations, complementing each other.

Pablo comes from the mural field, with great notions in street art and illustration, he has developed a very creative graphics. On the other hand, Raquel comes from the academic field and is a specialist in artistic screen printing and painting, being too the technical support of the project.

Likewise, each one with their references and ideas, contributes to the projects a very diverse imaginary.
